CSK Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni was not playing because of poor health condition. His absence was felt in this match and the result was CSK lost the match. CSK started off well with Watson and Du Plessis but after their wickets, the other players of CSK did not bat well which has cost them this loss. Bhuvneshawar Kumar and Sandeep Sharma did a superb job by not allowing Jadeja and Rayudu to make many runs. SRH’s bowling was very good especially towards the end of the first innings. The partnership of left hand and right-hand batsman of SRH (Bairstow and Warner) was super awesome, both of them scored a half-century. After this SRH has moved to the fifth position in the points table.
