Uttar Pradesh | The Prime Minister, Mr. Modi today was campaigning in western UP on Friday in Amroha and Sharanpur for the upcoming Lok Sabha Election. While addressing the crowd in Amroha he said, “Replying to terrorists in their own language is not being liked by some people.” He was actually intending it towards the oppositions (The Congress, The BSP, The SP).
Modi said this because for quite a long time the Congress has been accusing the PM regarding the Balakot Air Strike which was a counter attack of the Pulwama attack. Congress leaders like P Chidambaram accused BJP by saying that BJP is throwing about the number of deaths in Balakot and they also said that BJP is politicizing the Air Strike. Talking about this the PM asked the crowd which also consisted of Muslims that after the terrorist attack on us, should he remained quite or attacked on them?
His speech today in Amroha was mostly on the terrorist attack and the Congress party’s reaction which always accused BJP and he also thanked the government and the people of UAE who have honored him with the Zayed medal, he dedicated the medal to the people of INDIA. Zayed medal in UAE is the highest civilian honor, which was given to Narendra Modi on Wednesday, as he played a very important role in strengthening ties between the two nations.
“Terrorists are being given a reply in their own language, this is not liked by some people who lose their sleep when India hits back. When Pakistan is exposed in front of the world, these people start speaking in its favor.”said Modi.
Prosecuting the Congress, the SP and the BSP, he said, “Be it the Congress, the SP, or the BSP, they have put your life and future in danger. The governments of ‘Bua’ (referring to Mayawati) and ‘Babua’ (referring to Akhilesh Yadav) released terror accused and were kind to them.”
After addressing the crowd in Amroha, Modi went to Saharanpur which is also in Uttar Pradesh.
There again he accused the opposition, he said the main aim of the opposition is to remove him i.e “MODI HATAO” and their intension is to promote generation wise politics i.e “VANSVAAD”. Modi told the crowd that the opposition was spreading rumors that they will make Shaharnpur their new laboratory but its all lies. After this he spoke about the daughters of UP, he said, “Saharanpur is going to reject vote-bank politics of the SP, BSP and the Congress. People here trust the BJP. “They (opposition) give threat of ‘boti-boti’ (cut into pieces) and we talk of honour of “beti-beti” (daughter).”
Normally the people of UP use the phrase boti-boti for small small things. When Modi washed the feet of cleaners at kumbh mela in Prayagraj, that time Mayawati mocked him and said he is “chowkidar of toilet.” On this Modi said “behenji had all the time to make fun of me, but when the congress humiliated the cleaners, she did not even release a statement.”
We look forward to the outcomes of heavy aggressive attacks by Modi on opposition and how well does it get converted into votes or any damage that it can do to the opposition. But surely the importance of a campaigner as devastating as Modi, is the need of hour by every by every party.
