Sapna Chowdhary breaks the rumors of Joining Congress Party says All Political Parties Are Equal For Her

ANI | Haryanvi dancer & stage performer Sapna Choudhary, who came into limelight in February 2016 has broken the rumors regarding her joining Indian National Congress on , March 24 ahead of Lok Sabha polls 2019. Rumors included that she might stand in the same ground of mathura where Hema Malini is fighting from

“I have not met Raj Babbar [UP Congress Chief]. I have not joined the Congress party. I will not contest the 2019 Lok Sabha polls,” said Sapna. She later met Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the Congress general secretary in charge of east Uttar Pradesh. But as per latest information given by her , that picture of her meeting Mrs Vadra is of long ago.

The information of Choudhary joining politics first appear in June 2018, after BJP lawmaker Ashwini Kumar Chopra called her a ‘thumke lagane wali’. “Ashwini Chopra must be watching my dance that is why he passed that remark. I would like to thank him,” Choudhary responded boldly.

She said that she has been in contact with both BJP and INC but clearly swept off the fact that Pictures of her with Priyanka are not latest. However pictures of membership forms depicting Sapna’s photo and her details were in news till yesterday she , in a press conference puts an end to all of the rumors and misconceptions about her joining any political Party.

However breaking all the silence on the topic today she conveyed that she is not going to join any party and all political parties are equal to her in all the ways. She also said that the pictures being circulated on the internet were clicked long ago and she cannot help it.

BJP MLA Surendra Singh got a step ahead and said that Congress chief Rahul Gandhi is taking his family’s tradition ahead by catching a “dancer like his mother Sonia Gandhi“.

Her popularity touched its peak after her entry in Big Boss season 11. While interacting with media in New Delhi, she stated that she liked the Congress and former party president Sonia Gandhi and was eager to work for the Congress during elections but ruled out joining the party.

In July 2016, a case was registered against her under the SC/ST act. Due to this, she made an attempt to commit suicide by taking poison in September 2016. The singer was unmotivated after two cases were registered against her. On the basis of complaint filed by the Dalit activists, Gurgaon police, had registered a FIR against the singer and also set up a special investigation team to look into the matter.
