Won’t Permit Abdullahs, Muftis To Divide India : PM Narendra Modi

Kathua | Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday to address a rally for the Lok Sabha elections. PM Modi criticized Abdullahs and Muftis on their demand for a separate Prime Minister for Jammu and Kashmir and said these two families have ‘RUINED’ three generations of Jammu and Kashmir and he won’t allow them further to destroy Jammu and Kashmir by separating it from India.

The Prime Minister was actually referring to Jammu and Kashmir National Conference leader and the former CM of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah’s demand for a separate PM in Jammu And Kashmir State. Omar Abdullah demanded a separate PM for Jammu and Kashmir while addressing a rally in Pattan of Baramulla. He said what he is demanding is nothing new; it is there in the Constitution of India. He also said that he demanded the same during Vajpayee government when he was a minister in the latter’s government; if it was not wrong at that time why it is wrong now.  Because of this PM, Modi said he won’t allow the Abdullahs and Muftis to divide India.

What Modi exactly said about the Abdullahs and Muftis….

The Abdullah and Mufti families have “ruined” the three generations of Jammu and Kashmir. For the better future of the state, they should not come into powers. They can bring their entire clan into the field, can abuse Modi as much as they want but they won’t be able to divide this nation.

Modi struck on the Congress, he said Kashmiri Pandits had to leave their own home because of the policies of the Congress. Congress was so busy to gain vote bank that they never thought of the Kashmiri Pandits, the Congress has done injustice by taking the Pandits out from their own place. After some time Modi has promised that the Kashmiri Pandits will be coming back to their own land under his government. He said the work has already started. His government is also trying to make a law to provide citizenship to families who have come from Pakistan helplessly and those who believe in ‘MA BHARTI’. The Congress has always doubted about the 2016 surgical strike and the Balakot air strike; to this Modi said, Congress has never trusted the Indian army; for them, the army is a way to earn money.

Modi slammed Punjab CM Amarinder Singh for not attending an event which was done to pay respect to the victims of Jallianwala Bagh massacre. He said, “The Vice President was there in Jallianwala Bagh for the government event. He paid tribute to martyrs but the Congress CM was not there. I have known Capt Amarinder Singh for a long time. I have never raised a question on his patriotism. I can understand the kind of pressure which must have been put on him for this kind of ‘Parivar bhakti’.” ‘Parivar Bhakti’ here Modi refers to the Congress family.

Lastly, PM Modi thanked the people of Baramulla and Jammu, as in the first phase of election a large number of people came out and voted. And said by coming in large numbers to vote, the people have given a reply to the terrorist leaders and opportunists.

After the PM’s rally; People Democratic Party’s chief Mehbooba Mufti smashed out at Modi. She said it is the habit of our PM; before elections, he will criticize all the political parties but after the election, he finds ways to make an alliance with the same parties.
